L50, 5" l-angle, used to reinforce angle connections, staggered nail pattern reduces the possibility for splitting, wider leg is nailed into joist to allow correct nailing, shipped at 90 degrees angle, stronger than a toe nailed connection, made with 16 gauge galvanized steel, install with six 10d nails.
